The R81 Football Tuesday Development Programme helps children build confidence, improve their skills and enjoy learning the game through small-sided football sessions. Based in Woolwich and close to Plumstead, Thamesmead, Blackheath, Shooters Hill, Charlton and Kidbrooke, our sessions give children more touches, more decisions and more chances to dribble, pass, shoot and express themselves on the ball.

Where is the Tuesday Development Programme held?
The Tuesday Development Programme takes place at Mulgrave Primary School, Rectory Place, Woolwich, London, SE18 5DL.
What age groups can attend?
The programme is for children in Primary school Years 1–6 (age 5-11), and in secondary school Years 7-8 (ages 11-13) with separate session times for all year groups.
Is this programme suitable for beginners?
Yes. The programme is suitable for children who are new to football, as well as children who already play for a team and want extra training.
What type of football coaching is it?
R81 Football uses Brazilian-inspired, game-based coaching. Sessions focus on small-sided games, lots of touches, confidence, creativity and decision-making.
Can my child book a trial session?
Yes. Parents can book a £5 trial before joining the full block.
